– Revitalised Playtown opened

– Opening of the new common mall featuring Playtown and Toymate

– Closure of the former vehicle basement carpark entry ramp

Castletown also welcomed a number of new retail brands including Townsville’s only Fit Stop, Asian Supermart, House Bed & Bath, Sportscraft and Otto’s Harvest. We are glad to see everyone enjoying the return of Playtown and shopping at all new favourites Kaisercraft and Townsville’s only Toymate. We are also looking forward to welcoming Tips N Toes and Silk Laser to Castletown over the coming weeks.

Over the coming months, we are now working towards the following milestones;

– The opening of a number of all new specialty retailers

– New northern entry lift servicing the Coles basement car park

– Delivery of a brand new Coles anchoring the northern mall

We are looking forward to making further announcements on the new national and local brands opening at Castletown as we head towards the next launch phase and full completion of the redevelopment. Castletown continues to remain open and accessible and as always, we remain committed to creating a place dedicated to the Townsville community, from our fresh food offer at Kings Road Market to our fashion, homewares and a range of services there’s something for everyone.
